About Toni Jones

Toni Jones is a coach, counselor, consultant, educator, and facilitator. She offers life coaching classes and individual sessions. She still provides therapy through the private practice she began as a counselor over thirty years ago. She trains colleagues and other professionals in a variety of areas. She regularly testifies as an expert witness and leads groups for clients referred by the court system.
Toni adds life coaching to her professional palette after serving as administrator and primary therapist in a private practice for over thirty years. There, she provides counseling for individuals, groups, families, and couples. She has evaluated and treated over 10,000 victims and perpetrators of sexual abuse and domestic violence. As abuse became an area of expertise for Toni, she saw a great need for specialized counseling for victims and offenders. So, she created and implemented a comprehensive treatment program for them and their families in a coordinated community setting. She also created one of the first programs in the nation to address women using violence. Toni’s vast experience and groundbreaking efforts in cases of sexual abuse and violence cause her to be called upon by the court system as an expert witness. She has testified over 100 times and has helped 100’s of clients and other therapists navigate through the legal process.
In addition to guidance about testifying in court, Toni provides training to individuals and professionals in the areas of domestic violence, sexual abuse, family dynamics, abused and at-risk children, and underachieving. She developed a program for teens involved with Juvenile Probation which focused on thriving in life and included exposure to a variety of physical and outdoor activities. She serves on multiple state and local task forces.
Toni believes she can make the world a better place. She strives to help us make the sometimes difficult, always invaluable changes that lead to happy lives. Originally from Wallace, ID, she now lives near beautiful Pend O’rielle Lake in the North Idaho wilderness. She has raised two wonderful children. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, swimming, hiking, reading, boating, skiing, dancing, spending time with family and friends, and playing a mean game of bridge.
